Paul Wingler is founder and owner of Wingler Firearms Training, LLC and is a U.S. Marine Corps Veteran. Like many other gun enthusiasts, Paul began at an early age learning how to safely handle guns and learning shooting techniques from his father. Besides shooting various firearms, it was a must that he learned how to properly maintain and store his firearms.  Safety and maintenance was a priority!

Paul's background and training continued with his service in the United States Marine Corps. His training included qualifying with the M14, the M16 rifles, as well as, the 1911 .45 pistol. He also received basic combat and tactical training at MCD, San Diego, CA. Paul Served with the 2nd Marine Division at Camp Lejeune, NC.

As an NRA Certified Instructor, Paul has trained and qualified to teaching Pistol, Pistol Defense, Rifle, Shotgun, Home Firearm Safety, Personal Protection Inside the Home and Personal Protection Outside the Home. He is also an NRA Certified Chief Range Safety Officer.

Today, Paul Wingler is a member of the NRA and the Marine Corps League, Detachment 472 in Tallahassee, FL where he has  served as Captain of the Marine Corps League's Rifle and Pistol Teams. He is a member of the International Defensive Pistol Association (IDPA) and the United States Practical Shooters Association (USPSA).  Paul continues to study with other qualified NRA instructors, including an Israeli Tactical Defensive Pistol Training Instructor, to help him sharpen and expand his skills through various levels of practice drills and instruction. He does this not only for his personal knowledge and skills but to be able to impart optional skills for his students. 

As an NRA Certified Instructor, Paul believes if one is going to carry a firearm on them, it is imperative that they continue to keep safety at the forefront, work on their skills and be prepared; thus his motto... “Safety through Education; Building Confidence through Knowledge and Training” .
